Frequently Asked Questions
What types of poles and structures can you inspect?
We inspect a wide range of utility assets, including distribution poles, transmission structures, substations, and related infrastructure. Our solutions are adaptable to meet the specific needs of each utility.
How long does the inspection process take?
Our pace is fully customizable based on your preferences and schedule. Our experienced UAV teams can inspect anywhere from 250 structures per day to over 10,000 per week on large-scale projects.
What kind of data will we receive?
You’ll receive access to our cloud-based Kespry platform, along with downloadable deliverables such as KML, XML, shapefiles, PDFs, and CSVs. All data formats and reporting can be tailored to fit your internal workflows and GIS systems.
Will we receive too much data at once?
Not at all. We tailor our data delivery schedule to your needs. While we may collect large volumes of data quickly, we can deliver it gradually – for example, one feeder at a time – based on your review capacity and internal processes.
What if we already operate our own drone program?
We can complement your internal UAV efforts by providing support where you need it most, from processing and reviewing data to hosting and delivering final results. We’re flexible and can scale our involvement based on your existing capabilities.
